I guess you could say it all started at "Three Cup Chicken" in September '15 with the much talked about debut of El Vainillo against Supremo Champion Zookeeper Willie. Tiger Mask Red had just won a Supremo title shot at "Tijuana Takeout" earlier in the month and thus Willie and he were due to clash in October. Vainillo battled hard against Willie, but it looked as though the champion was about to finally put the man from the confectionary aisle away when Tiger Mask Red springboard into the ring, nailing Vainillo with the Scramble championship and causing Zookeeper Willie to suffer his very first loss in Pollomania albeit via disqualification.
Tiger Mask Red would go on to defeat Zookeeper Willie for the Supremo Championship at "Disorder in the House" in October and sent the Zoo man packing. He vacated the Scramble Championship upon winning the Supremo and focused his attention on his ongoing feud with Grin and Woody, who returned at the end of the event. El Vainillo battled Mr. Crazy on that same card and then saw himself competing in a Chicken Scramble at "Hell Comes to Pollomania" where he won the belt twice during the course of the match, but ultimately fell victim to Mr. Crazy's shenanigans in the closing moments.
"We Have a Problem" saw Vainillo and Tiger tangle again with Tiger and fellow rudo and Scramble Champion Mr. Crazy battling their number one contender counterparts Grin and El Vainillo, but the match would not see a definitive end. It was ruled a no contest when all hell broke loose and Tiger's Embassy Misfits interfered. This caused AIPollo to announce the season finale - a 5 on 5 Pollo Playhouse match with Grin and Tiger as the captains and each was given a month to assemble their teams. Before the season finale could happen though, there was one final stop... "Eggs Over Big Easy" which saw the Misfits battle Grin's pal Woody, El Vainillo and newcomer Owl Man. This match did have a definitive end and it was a somewhat surprising one to Pollomania fans! El Vainillo caught Tiger Mask Red with an O'Connor roll and gave Tiger his first direct pinfall loss, but the post match antics showed that once again the Misfits had a plan as both Mr. Crazy and Zargnax - who had actually been feuding with one another - showed up and helped the Misfits beat down the atomic team of El Vainillo, Owl Man, Grin and Woody.
Some startling news struck Pollomania following "Eggs Over Big Easy" as Grin was forced into retirement due to repeated concussions, Woody expressed that he would not compete without Grin. This left El Vainillo and Owl Man in a bad spot as far as team members went. Things got worse when Tiger Mask Red announced his team was dropping Holly Guacamole in favour of the returning Nirvana, a man that Tiger Mask Red had fireballed only three months prior!
El Vainillo and Owl Man were able to assemble a team just in time... Vainillo's longtime partner Huracan Rojo, Selena King and Amy Drew helped round out the Everyday Heroes. The Pollo Playhouse proved to be a brutal and bloody affair that saw rudos Nirvana and Brutus Smith and tecnicos Amy Drew and Huracan Rojo eliminated before AIPollo inexplicably turned the match into a 3 on 3 sudden death. With the help of a severely malfunctioning Zargnax arm cannon that inadvertently took Mr. Crazy (and a cage wall) out of the equation then moments later, Owl Man shoved Zargnax just as El Vainillo ducked causing the fireball meant for him to strike down Tiger Mask Red and allow Vainillo to pin Zargnax. It was a fitting end to a tumultuous season for the Supremo Champion after having fireballed the likes of Nirvana and Pollomania president Super Pollo and attempting to strike many others with it.
This fireball threw a wrench into the scheduled title match between Tiger Mask Red and El Vainillo though...
