ENTRANCE DESCRIPTION -
The arena lights dim as the opening distorted guitar-riff for "Sheepdog" by Mando Diao plays across the venue's speakers. Green-cloured light from spotlights shine on the top of the ramp, illuminating it briefly before flickering as Johnny Rousseau steps out from behind the curtain with both hands raised; flashing a double-horns gesture to the fans as the green spotlights disappear, to be replaced by large white spotlight focused on him.
After a brief moment of surveying the Pollo Hall's audience from the top of the ramp, the wrestler from an alternate universe walks down the ramp, slapping hands and bumping fists with some of the front row fans before breaking into a run at the halfway mark. Using the momentum, he leaps cleanly over the top rope in a display of sheer athletic ability, landing in a knee-slide across the apron while strumming an air-guitar with his hands.
Inside the run, Johnny leaps to his feet and climbs up the nearest turnbuckle as his entrance music hits the chorus and screams at the fans to sing-a-long with him:
"DON'T KNOW WHY I CAN'T LOCATE THIS FEELING, THAT I WOULD RATHER BE WITH YOU!!
IT MAKES NO SENSE, YOU'RE CRYING OUT LOUD, THAT I MAY LOVE YOU!!!"
"THIS STRESS IS WAASTING MY EMOTIONS THAT I WOULD RATHER BE WITH YOU!!
DON'T LET THEM CLOSER TO THIS SECRET… THAT I MAY LOVE YOU!!"
Johnny then proceeds flashes the double-horns gesture once more to the audience and leaps down from the turnbuckle, as "Sheepdog" fades and the arena lights brighten.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION
BIOGRAPHY -
In an improbable act that transcended the known barriers of physics and the boundaries of space-time continuum, an alternate version of "Mr. Crazy" was transported from a parallel universe and into the Season 2 opener of Pollomania.
After being caught up in the initial shock and confusion, culminating in an unprovoked assault on Zargnax and the loss of his Scramble Champion ship to the Mr. Crazy of our timeline, he was immediately signed to a contract by Pollomania management: being, of course, the only reasonably thing to do when unexpectedly confronted with an exact duplicate of their current Scramble Champion.
The alternate version of "Mr. Crazy" has since decided to lose the mask and make the best out of a an entirely disorienting and life-altering situation, deciding to go by his birth-name, Johnny Rousseau.
His ultimate goal is to find a way home.
ALTERNATE HISTORY -
Like his "mainstream" universe counterpart, Johnny Rousseau was born in the city of New Orleans to a mother who walked out on him not long after giving birth; leaving him only with a name scrawled on a hospital napkin.
Instead of disappearing into the system, like many other children in his circumstances, including the current timeline's Mr. Crazy; he was adopted by a high-school phys-ed teacher, a widower with no children of his own.
Johnny Rousseau grew up in a spartan household, under the guardianship of a kindly father figure who nurtured the abandoned boy's latent athletic talent. While excelling in almost every sport he participated in, Johnny took a liking to amateur wrestling. With his adopted father's encouragement, he pursued the sport of amateur wrestling with zeal; going as far as competing on the collegiate level after receiving an athletic scholarship.
On the day of his graduation, he got the phone call that made his heart sank to the pits of his stomach. His father had passed away in a car accident. He threw up for two hours into a toilet bowl, completely in shock and overwhelmed by the grief.
At the conclusion of the funeral, Johnny received a modest inheritance and decided to leave the States to travel across the world. In Mexico, he discovered the tradition of Lucha Libre and wasted no time in signing himself to compete. In a short time, he earned the name "Mr. Crazy", after his reckless-nature and willingness to put life and limb on the line to please some of the most difficult fans in the business.
After abruptly dropping out from the Lucha Libre scene in Mexico, Johnny continued on his travels; heading eastward to Asia and the Land of the Rising Sun, where he re-emerged a year in the puroresu circuit. However, it was his participation in the notorious sanctioned "Death Matches" at the time when he cemented his reputation as the "Hero of Ryogoku", after endearing himself to Japanese fans at the Ryogoku Sumo Hall with death-defying, high-flying stunts.
Shortly after returning to Mexico, he was snapped up by the Pollomania wrestling brand, which apparently exists in the parallel dimension. Johnny once again wrestled under the Mr. Crazy persona, feuding with the likes of El Villaino and the Everyday Villains, while maintaining a cordial relationship with the top fan-favourite, Tiger Mask Gold, and the Canadian Supporters Club.
Halfway through a particularly grueling Scamble Championship title defense, falls-count anywhere match against Zargnax, Johnny Rousseau was transported to the present timeline.
