*Dark room. El Tigre de Jengibre is brought out before the camera by Charlotte O’Neal, in a wheelchair He’s strapped in a straightjacket and wearing a bite mask. Charlotte stands behind the wheelchair as he begins to speak.*
“So you think I’m ignoring you, Grin? Nothing could be further from the truth. You and Woody are always on my mind; on Monday I simply chose to turn my focus to El Hijo del Pollo for a moment before I turned my rage on the poor fool standing before me.”
“That’s why he’s in his present state,” Charlotte interrupts, “by order of the Ambassador. For the cameraman’s protection, of course.”
“Take his monkey suit off and I’ll show you what I think of his orders.”
Charlotte laughs; he growls at her before continuing.
“Grin, you want me to tell the world what happened to you and Woody? You want me to explain why you were AWOL for four weeks? Fine, I clearly have nothing else to do
“Five weeks ago, following our Scramble Championship match in Tijuana, Holly said she thought Woody had got her pregnant during their tag team match. Now while the idea may seem absurd, Charlotte’s kept her on birth control since she first signed with the company, but it gave me all the excuse I needed to try to destroy you both.
“So Brute and I waited after the show and when you came out of the arena, we grabbed you both and took you out into the desert where I attempted to break every bone in your body. I would have too but I had a rare moment clarity of mind and I stopped. Why? It’s because I realized I wasn’t done with you yet.
“You see, Grin, this may seem a bizarre thing to say to one’s enemy but I actually like you. In a strange way you complete me. When I first arrived here in Pollomania, I was lost. I had no idea where to begin in my path of destruction. Then fate stepped in and we were pitted against one another and I realized I had found my great adversary. The man that I would torment until Pollomania was nothing but a burning rubble. The man that I wanted to pay witness to my final victory, who would lead me by the hand into my own personal Armageddon.
“So I stopped beating and I left you in the middle of the desert, certain that you would come back eventually but reassured that you would be gone long enough to for me to attain a few goal first. I told you before you shouldn’t have come back but I’m SO GLAD YOU DID!”
He starts laughing and shaking the wheelchair back and forth.
“GRIN, YOU AND I ARE FAR FROM DONE! STAY! DON’T RUN! You don’t want to miss what happens next. A darkness is coming. Don’t get swept away by it.”
*Charlotte turns the wheelchair around and pushes it away as he laughs hysterically.*
