The Embassy is in chaos as agents in grey suits run around frantically. Charlotte enters the screen with Holly and Brute close behind. Charlotte is grimacing as she rubs her temples.
"Find those damn monkeys," she growls, "we don't have time to fool around with this nonsense!"
"I am Brute?"
"'Let Grin and Woody have them'? Are you insane! Do you have any idea what kind of mischief those two could cause if we don't keep them in check."
A loud band is heard from the far corner of the room the agents are searching. Everyone turns to look. While their backs are turned Thing Two pops up on the bottom of the screen, he waves and holds up a sign that reads, "Hi Grin! Hi Woody!" He then drops back down before people start turning back around.
Charlotte is fuming.
"I don't have time for this! I need to make sure that the Ambassador's private box is set up before next week's show in Tijuana and make sure there's no bombs."
"But everyone in Mexico loves Daddy!"
Charlotte groans.
"It's not the locals I'm concerned about, Holly. It's that brother of your's..."
Another load bang causes everyone to turn around again. Thing One swings by the screen on a rope with a sign reading, "Things LOVE Woody & Grin!" He's gone before everyone turns around.
Charlotte looks like she's about to explode but someone calms herself down. She brushes off her jacket and adjusts her glasses.
"Those pests well be located soon enough. I don't know why we even brought them here; they're very shady. From what I learned about them, they'd sell her mother out to save their own necks. Enough about them, are you two ready for next Wednesday's match?"
Brute flexes his arms and his jacket sleeves start to tear.
"I am Brute."
"I'm ready to," giggles Holly, "Let me at Woody, I'll show him a good time."
Charlotte groans. She pats Holly on the head before speaking once more.
"Good for you, sweetie. Why don't you grab your hockey sticks and go see if you can wack those naughty Things over the head. Ok?"
"OK!"
She runs off, "Here Thingies!"
Charlotte turns to Brute after she's gone.
"I can't believe she and Tiger are siblings. He's way too smart by half. If they had been both born with average intellects it would have saved all of us a lot of grief.
"Speaking of the devil, I better go check on him before I do anything else. Can you supervise the search without me?"
"I am Brute."
After Charlotte to leaves the room, Brute turns to watch the agents search. Attached to his broad back is a sign reading "We'll See You In Tijuana, Grin & Woody! Tequila Shots On The Embassy's Tab!!!"
Thing One and Thing Two pop up from the bottom of the screen, giggling. A hockey stick comes crashing down on their heads.
"Found you! Silly Thingies," Holly yells.
(494 words, 20 frustrated Canadian Embassy agents and two aching Thing heads.)
