A press conference was held inside the Pollo Hall in Montreal following the "Poutines and Planchas" event. The Embassy's newly appointed press secretary Angus Stewart was on hand with Holly Guacamole and Brutus Smith to make a few announcements. The first order of business for the Embassy was to introduce a video from Tiger Mask Red and Charlotte O'Neal (who were not present and said to be on their way to Dallas for unspecified business) where Tiger announced he was invoking his rematch clause! April 13th in Minneapolis, Minnesota at the "Rotisserie Rumble" would see the two men clash again, but this time the two men will wrestle two falls to a finish in a two out of three falls match! Tiger's explanation for that particular stipulation was that Vainillo has now pinned him twice and that he wanted to prove to the world that he can do likewise and regain the Supremo Championship.
Once the video ended, Angus Stewart declared that the Embassy holds issue with El Vainillo and the Owl Man's involvement in the Tag Grand Prix following his title win. Tiger Mask Red was stripped of his Scramble Championship when he defeated Zookeeper Willie to become the Supremo Champion because no wrestler was allowed to hold both championships. The Embassy believes that El Vainillo should be forced to forfeit his remaining matches in the Tag Grand Prix so that he does not have the chance to become a double champion.
Vainillo was quick to respond on Twitter:
Following that, Angus Stewart threatened Pollomania with legal action if they do not comply in investigating the matter of what is underneath the ring. Unfortunately this past event saw one half of Starship Insanity in Mr. Crazy be dragged underneath the ring following his team's victory in the Tag Grand Prix over the Adult Entertainment Xpress. Zargnax was unable to save his partner and Mr. Crazy has not been seen since! Not surprisingly, Stewart and the Embassy also called for Zargnax to forfeit his remaining Tag Grand Prix matches and effectively make the 3/23 Tag Grand Prix between the Embassy and the Adult Entertainment Xpress a battle to determine to the tag champions.
AIPollo addressed this on Twitter:
Angus Stewart began taking questions from reporters to close out the press conference. Jamie McIntyre of the Montreal Gazette asked if Tiger Mask Red would be in Toronto for the "Great Canadian Freeze" on 3/9 and Stewart responded that he'd been authorized to inform everyone that the former Supremo Champion would be making an open challenge to ANYONE in Pollomania. This challenge didn't take long to be answered:
Holly Guacamole was the target of the next question and was asked to elaborate on why she'd taken exception to recent comments from newcomer Ursula Areano. Guacamole was offended that Areano claimed in a promo earlier this week that she was the only female wrestler in Pollomania. Guacamole hoped that Areano was watching as she forced El Vainillo to pass out to the Sharpshooter in Montreal. She finished by claiming she was the most dominate woman in Pollomania and challenged Areano to a match on 3/9 in Toronto!
Brutus Smith was the subject of the final question as Farley McGill of WrestlingNewsNow.com asked him to comment on the swirling rumours that his speech impediment was all an act and that he was in fact a completely articulate man. Smith approached the podium, cleared his throat and simply uttered the only phrase we've ever heard him say, "I am Brute" as the room erupted with laughter. McGill was clearly embarrassed, but did not seem convinced.
