GENERAL INFORMATION
TEAM NAME: Woody & The Grin
MEMBERS: Woody & The Grin
ALIGNMENT (FACE/TECNICO or HEEL/RUDO): Face/Rudo (As Super Pollo put it, "babyface Eddie Guererro").
YEARS EXPERIENCE: 3 years in Japan, 2 more in Mexico
BIOGRAPHY - "The Grin" is a very large masked wrestler. He dresses in bathrobes, sweaters, and a black mask with a giant grin on it. Oh, and did I mention he is very large? Like gorilla large, yo. Dude is house.
His tag team partner, "Woody", is a man sized and fully articulated wooden dummy. Woody kind of looks like a giant version of one of those faceless wooden dudes-on-a-stick that art students use. He is clearly not alive in any way; he "moves" during promos via camera jump-cuts, and is plainly being moved around by The Grin during wrestling matches.
Woody & The Grin are former tag team champions.
But... but HOW CAN THIS BE?! The answer to this, as with most WTF questions, is "Japan".
While The Grin was wrestling in Japan, he saw this schtick that some of the wrestlers were doing there, where they would work matches with/against inanimate objects (e.g. a ladder, a blow-up doll, Matt Bloom, etc.). He decided to try it himself, using the heavy wooden dummy he trains with as a "legit" opponent. It turns out to be a successful gimmick in Japan, and Woody even got a short third-tier title run out of it. This basically legitimized Woody as a wrestler.
At which point, The Grin then announced that he would be forming a tag team with Woody.
Realistically, The Grin takes advantage of tag team rules to "tag in" a 200-pound weapon, whenever he feels like it, and as long as Woody "tags" him back in, The Grin can just continue his onslaught without getting disqualified. However, he treats Woody like a legitimate wrestler, living being, and friend, and gets annoyed when people don't respect Woody's personage.

COMBINED WEIGHT: 520 pounds

- Woody: 6'4", 200 lbs
- The Grin: 6'10", 320 lbs
- Woody: 6'4", 200 lbs
DETAILED PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION:
The Grin dresses like Jeff Bridges from "The Big Lebowski" (e.g. slobby clothes, bathrobes, etc) only he also wears a black "faceless" mask with a wig and a giant grin on it (no eyes). He doesn't bother undressing at the start of the match, instead as the match goes on and he gets sweaty, he'll start removing his warm layers of clothing. He reeks when he does this.
Woody is usually naked, except for the Post-It Note pad that's been thumb-tacked into his face. The pad will show Woody's current "mood", or sometimes it will even have a few words in it. The camera NEVER shows the Post-It Note being switched in any way, meaning that there's always a jump cut or change of angle before the note switches. Sometimes during entrances, Woody will wear a piece of merch that's for sale.

PSYCHOLOGICAL SECTION
STRENGTHS
1. In addition to effectively being armed, The Grin is also very strong and resistant to injury.
2. The Grin's insane silliness hides an uncanny intelligence and awareness of his surroundings - he is virtually impossible to surprise or sneak up on, and is accustomed to thinking several moves ahead.
WEAKNESSES
1. Let's get realistic for just one second - Woody is only truly effective when The Grin is on the offensive. The Grin will find himself in 2-on-1/3-on-2 handicap situations in virtually every match. This means there's far less chance of him getting saved if he gets pinned, or if the numbers game comes up in any way. The best he can do is just try to fight out of that situation alone.
2. The Grin describes his style as "pragmatic" and "conserving energy", but the fact is he's just very, very lazy (think Big Show doing his laziest impression of Kevin Owens). His low speed and endurance show this. Opponents with exceptional endurance gain an advantage the longer the match goes on.
COMMON STRATEGIES
In tag matches, The Grin always gets thing started. Periodically throughout the match, he'll "tag in" Woody, then use Woody as a weapon in one of several ways:
- Simple bludgeon attempts, made to look like moves (e.g swing Woody by an arm and leg to simulate a cross body, swing Woody by one arm so that an opponent gets clotheslined by the other arm)
- Stick an opponent in the corner and then Irish whip Woody really hard into them
- Suplex, powerbomb, or slam Woody onto a laying opponent
- Airplane spin Woody and then throw him at opponents outside the ring (making it look like Woody is doing a suicide dive)
- Pretty much anything else the match writer can come up with
Note: Whenever possible, Grin will try to maintain the illusion that Woody is a person and not a weapon/inanimate object. So it's rare for Woody to be used like a chair/bat/other form of basic bludgeoning weapon. That's not to say it never happens, but it's generally avoided.
The Grin will also take advantage of the "touch the ground" rule to tag out himself and rest while avoiding a count-out (since Woody is the legal person!). If the opponent takes the bait, Grin can then pull the opponent out of the ring and keep them out for a 20-count, thus Woody gets credit for winning the match.

WRESTLING SECTION
FINISHING MOVES
1. Louisville Slam: With the opponent laying down on their back, The Grin tags in Woody, and then Alabama Slams Woody across the opponent. Since Woody is tagged in, this counts as a pin. For funsies, this move can also be boosted off a turnbuckle.
2. Grin Fandango: Guillotine choke (submission) performed by Grin
SIGNATURE MOVES
1. Grinside-Out: Swinging Reverse STO (aka "Sister Abigail"). Grin also uses this move as his singles finisher.
2. Smile Bones: Grin puts Woody's shoulder under the opponent's chin and then makes Woody perform an Ace Stunner.
2. Smile Bones: Grin puts Woody's shoulder under the opponent's chin and then makes Woody perform an Ace Stunner.
3. Wooden Spear: Grin Irish whips opponent into the corner, then tags in Woody. Grin then "helps" Woody deliver a spear into the opponent's abdomen.
ENTRANCE SECTION
ENTRANCE THEME - "E-Pro" by Beck (https://youtu.be/RIrG6xBW5Wk)
ENTRANCE DESCRIPTION - The speakers blast "E-Pro" by Beck. The stage egg cracks open, and we see Woody with his arm over The Grin's shoulder, and both have their free arm up in a wave! The Grin then kneels and flexes his arms, before scooping Woody up and giving him a shoulder-ride to the ring! Woody's arm comes down, and The Grin leans in so Woody can get high-fives from the fans. Once they get to the ring, The Grin claps his hands together and then stretches them out, as the crowd reacts.
